Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program (MBSR) Instructor: Sharon M. Theroux PH.D., ABPP

MBSR is an 8-week program based on the practice of mindfulness. The key to mindfulness is a non-judgmental awareness that enables you to respond with greater clarity, stability and understanding to life’s stressors, rather than reacting in unhealthy ways.The program consists of eight weekly two and 1/2 hour classes, and a one-day silent retreat (Sunday, March 19, 2017) between sessions six and seven.

Participants who complete the course can enhance their ability to:

  • Relax
  • Reduce Anger
  • Live in the moment
  • Cope with chronic pain
  • Focus and concentrate
  • Find balance, clarity and stability
